Family, Faculty and Friends of Imagine Columbus Primary Academy:
Please join us on Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m. for our International Festival!
The International Festival is designed to be a celebration of the cultural diversity that is present in our nation and our school. Teachers will choose a different country and decorate their rooms according to the culture and customs of that country. Each classroom will have tables with samples of food from their respective country, and the teachers will dress in the attire or clothing of the country they choose.
Imagine Columbus Primary Academy is proud to include Somalis, Hispanics, Nepalese, African-Americans, Chinese, American and children from around the world. I know everyone has something unique and special about them, and I value the different qualities and viewpoints each and every person brings to our school. I know the International Festival will help students with history, geography and language arts, but it also will showcase the assortment of special qualities in our school and its contributions to the central Ohio community.
I have experiences traveling to different countries and also served in the Armed Forces for six years. I am proud to add my experiences to those of our talented staff, and I look forward to working with them to integrate their ideas and create a school that helps our students become educated, inspired and engaged.
